Christie Beach

This series of monochrome paintings was part of my exhibition, Transitions: From Dark to Light, wherein I explored my personal transition from grief to a new embrace of life. These dark paintings of isolation gradually gave way to a colourful, light-filled palette in later paintings of the seaside and gardens, and my grandchildren at play.
